Description
The VR-8500 system comes standard with simultaneously sampled 24-bit input A/D's with 100dB dynamic range. The input impedance is 100 kΩ. Accelerometer constant current source and TEDS are standard on all channels. 1 to 32 channels, configured in blocks of 4.

The system comes standard with two 24-bit output D/A's with 100dB signal to (noise+distortion) ratio. Outputs are low impedance with a range of 20-volts peak-to-peak. The 24 bit A/D and D/A converters on the VR-8500 give it the ability to resolve signals 120dB apart.

The system communicates to the PC using a standard Ethernet port. This eliminates the need for special cables and cards. This also gives much more flexibility in the location of the controller. The VR-8500 supports the IEEE standard for Transducer Electronic Data Sheet accelerometers.
