The most powerful, full-featured optical power meters on the market. The Photodyne 17XTG and 17XTI Hand-Held Fiber Optic Power Meters represent the cutting edge in fiber optic testing technology. Extremely powerful and flexible, the Photodyne 17XTG/I power meters boast a wider dynamic range and higher accuracy than previous units.

• Maintenance and restoration
• Engineering and testing

The Photodyne 17XTG/I power meters work in conjunction with the Photodyne 7XT Light Source. Designed for a variety of applications. The extended dynamic range of the power meters allows the units to provide testing capabilities for a wide spectrum of applications. High-performance applications such as analog cable TV systems and erbium-doped amplifiers are accommodated with the upper end of the Photodyne 17XTG power meter's dynamic range (+20 dBm). More basic applications, such as today's SONET and ATM digital systems, are handled easily.
