The JDS MTA Series Optical Attenuator Shelf has the flexibility to use the MTA Cassettes in many combinations. This flexibility allows you to get the amount of functionality you need in smaller blocks, lowering your overall system costs. A typical configuration would be (1) MTA Shelf with (1) MTA 150 Control Cassette and several Attenuator Cassettes to make a compact multi-channel attenuator. However, there are other modules that can be used in the system. There are optical switch cassettes and fiber coupler cassettes.
